Bernd Stange announces provisional Syria national team squad

The German coach Bernd Stange has announced the preliminary list of the Syrian team that will be joining the upcoming camp in Austria next July-August in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup.

It is expected that the list will include several players from the Syrian league that ended two weeks ago.

And players who play in the Arabian leagues such as Omar Al-Soma, Ahmad Al-Salih, Hadi Almasri, Oday Al-Jafal and a few more.

As for Omar Khreibin, Tariq Jabban, the local coach of the Syrian team confirmed that the Saudi Al-Hilal player had not been ruled out, but would be with his team at an outside camp during the camp period in Austria.

As for the players who are in the European leagues, the Syrian coach promised to include a number players who have Syrian origins, and for that, the Syrian Football Federation called up Dynamo Dresden player Ayaz Osman.

The player said: “I am very pleased with the hospitality he received and his deep desire to wear the Syrian shirt.”
