Beijing Renhe join the race to sign Fernando Torres – Reports

Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe could be the potential destination for the career of Fernando Torres, as reported by Spanish media outlet Marca.

The 2010 World Cup winner is set to leave Atletico Madrid this summer and he is looking for a new club.

Marca claimed that Beijing Renhe had joined the race to sign Torres in January.

The 34-year-old forward reportedly turned down Renhe’s offer earlier this year since he wanted to manage a silverware in the last season with his boyhood club Atletico Madrid, as he did in Lyon with the Europa League.

However, Torres is now free from any commitments to Atletico Madrid and Beijing Renhe are hoping to seal a deal before the Chinese Super League kicks off again in July after the World Cup.
