Indonesian side Borneo FC have officially announced the signing of former Real Madrid defender Julien Faubert.
The 34-year-old joined Borneo ahead of the 2018 Liga 1 season after leaving Finnish club Inter Turku last year.
“Previously playing for such clubs as Real Madrid, West Ham, and Bordeaux, Julien Faubert has officially joined Indonesian club Borneo FC,” read a statement on the club’s official Twitter.
Faubert spent five seasons playing in the English Premier League with West Ham United and had a brief loan spell with Madrid in 2009.
He starter his early professional career in the French Ligue 1 with Cannes in 2002 before moving to Bordeaux two years later.
