Chiang Rai United president Miti Tiyapairat has commented on Myanmar international football Kyaw Ko Ko, who has just joined the team on loan from Yangon United.
The 25-year-old striker made his unofficial debut for Chiang Rai United in a friendly match against Port FC. The match’s official time ended in an endless draw, but Chiang Rai United was eliminated in the penalty shoot-out.
Answering reporters’ questions after the match, Chiang Rai United president Miti Tiyapairat said he was satisfied with Kyaw Ko Ko’s performance, but still thought he can up his game by adapting to the team’s tactics.
“Overall, we are okay with that. He put on an acceptable performance”, he told reporters.
“However, I think he needs to adapt to the team’s tactic and the nature of Thailand football. Football in Thailand and Myanmar are different, it seems”, he said.
