The Colombia international Roger Martinez has joined Villarreal from Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.
Jiangsu Suning announced they had reached an agreement with Villarreal for the transfer of Martinez on the club’s official social media account.
The Chinese club also thank the 23-year-old for his contribution during his 18-month spell in China.
After that, Villareal also confirmed the signing on their official Twitter account on Sunday.
Martinez joined Jiangsu from Racing Club in 2016. He scored 17 goals in 30 league appearances during his time in China.
The Colombian has been reportedly a replacement for Cedric Bakambu, who is expected to join Beijing Guoan this month.
