Malaysia U-23 coach Ong Kim Swee open the chance to be in the first team for all players

Malaysia U-23 coach Ong Kim Swee stated that he was open the chance to be in the first team for all the players in his side.

Kim Swee will reportedly finalize the squad for the AFC U-23 Championship after the final test against Syria on Friday.

“I believe everyone in the team has a chance to be in the first team and all our training sessions will be tactical-based,” he said, as quoted by the Malay Mail Online.

“This is more important now as are close to the competition. I want to see us control the game and not make mistakes. That will be a good start,” he added.

Malaysia U-23 team arrived in Nanjing last Sunday for the training sessions ahead of the AFC tournament.

In China, they have been drawn in Group C with Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
