Former Singapore international Warriors FC star Muhammad Ridhuan has agreed to return to the Indonesian league after signing for Borneo FC.
The Indonesia’s Liga 1 side on Tuesday announced that the 33-year-old winger had signed a deal ahead of 2018 President’s Cup.
“OFFICIAL: Muhammad Ridhuan joins Borneo FC squad for the President’s Cup. Welcome!” read a statement on the Samarinda-based club’s official Twitter.
Ridhuan started his career with S.League clubs Young Lions in 2003 before moving to local giants Tampines Rovers four years later.
He and fellow ex-Singapore international Noh Alam Shah joined Indonesian club Arema FC in 2009, where he helped the team to win the 2008-09 Indonesia Super League title.
