Chonburi FC have unveiled the signing of former Brazil U-20 player Ciro Henrique from Joinville in Brazilian Primeira Liga.
The Thai League 1 side announced the arrival of Ciro with a post on their official Facebook site on Monday. The post said: “Welcome “Ciro Alves”. More Details Coming Soon!”
Ciro was included in the Brazil U-20 squad, who were the runner-up of 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt. Starting his career in Brazilian club Remo, Ciro had mostly experienced playing football in his native country.
In 2015, the 28-year-old signed with K League Classic side Jeju United FC but had to return to his childhood club Remo following an unsuccessful spell.
