Sriwijaya FC are set to sign Tajikistan national team striker and 2017 AFC Cup’s best player Manuchekhr Dzhalilov.
The 27-year-old prolific-striker will be signed to fill Laskar Wong Kito’s foreign spots ahead of the Indonesia Liga 1 next season along with Malian duo Makan Konate dan Mahamadou N’Diaye.
“Konate and N’Diaye will arrive soon, probably in this week. They will join the team training with another players,” said Ucok Hidayat, Sriwijaya team manager.
“There will be one more player from Tajikistan. He plays as striker, his name is Manuchekhr Dzhalilov. But he will copmplete his documents before arriving next week.”
Dzhalilov claimed the MVP trophy of AFC Cup this year after leading FC Istiklol became the runners-up. He scored 25 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this season.
