
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs will be appointed as a director for the youth academy by the Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents Football Club (PVF).
According to reports from Tin The Thao, Giggs will travel to Vietnam, alongside former United teammate Paul Scholes and Managing Director of Manchester United International Mike Farnan, on 19 November to attend the opening ceremony of the academy. Scholes will take up the undisclosed role of the academy officials.
The Welsh will be responsible for training coaches and young players in the academy, in which focuses on reviewing and evaluating the lecture and lessons of the senior coaches.
Giggs and Scholes will not settle down in Vietnam during their tenure. The former United duo will travel to PVF office about three months once to evaluate the workflows of the academy.
