Spanish striker Fernando Torres has decided to leave his boyhood club in January, with offers from Chinese Super League and MLS clubs reportedly on the table, according to Cadena SER.
The 33-year-old striker returned to Atletico Madrid in 2015, after an unsuccessful loan spell with Italian side AC Milan. The former Liverpool and Chelsea footballer has made 49 league appearances in his second spell with the Madrid club, scoring 14 goals.
Torres could have left Atletico Madrid in the summer, but he decided to stay after the club failed to bring in a replacement, as they are still under a transfer ban.
However, the arrival of Diego Costa in January could limit opportunities available for the 33-year-old striker.
