Felda United on the verge of being axed from Malaysia Super League next season

Felda United are on the verge of being axed from Malaysia Super League next season after their license application was rejected.

The Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Club Licensing Appeals Body rejected Felda’s appeals after they failed to meet the financial requirements stipulated under the license’s regulations.

FAM general secretary Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin said that Felda’s future now rests on M-League organisers Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP).

“We have forwarded the Club Licensing Appeals Body’s decision to FMLLP for action. FMLLP will hold their board meeting soon to decide on the matter,” said Hamidin yesterday on The Star.

Alongside Felda, Sarawak are also ineligible to compete at the M-League next season.
