Australia head coach Ange Postecoglou has been reportedly linked with a move to Chinese Super League’s side Shanghai Shenhua.
According to News Limited on Tuesday, Postecoglou has been offered a lucrative contract of three million U.S. dollars annually by Shanghai Shenhua.
Media has reported that the 52-year-old wanted to step down after the World Cup playoff against Honduras, in order to take up opportunities of coaching a foreign club.
Even Football Federation Australia (FFA) boss David Gallop failed to end speculation at a media conference on Monday.
