Singapore coach V. Sundramoorthy hopes for a quick recovery of his side ahead of the 2019 Asian Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan tomorrow.
“The boys have had a long journey, so the roles of our sports trainers, physios and fitness coach are important,” said V. Sundramoorthy after the team had to endure a seven-hour layover in Turkey to make their journey to Ashgabat, as quoted by The New Paper.
Singapore are standing at the bottom of Group E with two points in three games.
However, there will be a light hope of qualifying for V. Sundramoorthy and his men if they can win second-placed Turkmenistan in tomorrow’s game.
