Indonesia national team scheduled to face FIFA top ranked teams

Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) will invite one of the five highest ranked teams in the FIFA’s ranking for an international friendly, as reported by Netral News.

“We are targeting a suitable team and will inform if there is a positive signal,” said Gatot Widakdo, Head of Media Relations and Digital Promotion of PSSI on Friday.

Previously, Secretary General of PSSI Ratu Tisha Destria once stated the possibility of organizing an international friendly against Portugal, which is ranked third in FIFA rankings. However, the match has yet been ascertained.

Until now, Indonesia national team have confirmed only an international friendly remaining this year. Luis Milla and his squad will face Cambodia at Bekasi on 4 October.
