Al Hilal star Carlos Eduardo has set his sights on winning the AFC Champions League after performing impressively in the quarter-finals.
The 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder led the Saudi Arabian outfit into the semi-finals as his hat-trick helped Al Hilal to a 3-0 aggregate victory over UAE’s Al Ain.
With the domestic success is already on his hands, now the former Porto man is aiming for continental glory this year.
“The AFC Champions League is the only trophy I am yet to win at Al Hilal,” Carlos Eduardo told the AFC’s official site.
“I know our fans are eager to win it, so we will have to work hard to bring the trophy home and make them happy.”
Al Hilal are set to face Persepolis in a two-legged semi-finals tie, with hosting the first leg at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium on Monday before visiting Iran on October 17.
