Vietnam caretaker Mai Duc Chung has named two most dangerous Cambodian players during the video analysis session ahead of the AFC Asian Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
The 64-year-old has praised the modernized playing style that Cambodia have been pursuing. “Many people underestimate Cambodia, but under the guidance of the Brazilian coach Leonardo Vitorino, their performance seems to be more impressed with the 4-3-3 formation,” Chung told reporters in the pre-match press conference, as quoted by The Thao 247.
“I have analyzed quite thoroughly the strength of Cambodia captain Khoun Labovary and Chan Vathanaka, their most prominent football star who is dubbed “Ronaldo of Cambodia”. They are very fast and skillful.
“I learned that Vathanaka was playing for Fujieda MYFC at Japan’s J-League 3 on loan from Boeung Ket Angkor. We will pay serious attention to these two players,” he added.
