Cambodia national team attacker Keo Sokpheng: We have a 70% chance to beat Vietnam

Cambodia national team attacker Keo Sokpheng believes that his side can hold on a 70% chance of winning the AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Vietnam.

“We have had a lot of experience with Vietnam since our encounters in AFF Cup 2016. This has been the helpful experience for us so far,” the Cambodia-Vietnamese told reporters in a post-match press conference on Monday, as quoted by Webthethao.vn.

Sharing the same opinion with his man, Cambodia head coach Leonardo Vitorino said that the Kouprey Blue would have the advantage from the supports of local fans at Olympic Stadium.

“Our target is earning points from Vietnam. I just told my squad to respect our opponents because their players were confident and owning good skills, which could be proven in last month’s SEA Games,” he said.

Cambodia, who sensationally beat Afghanistan 1-0 in front of 40,000 fans at the Olympic Stadium in June, will seek for another win in the qualifier against Vietnam on Tuesday.
