Carlos Tevez has returned to China after recovering from a calf injury in his native Argentina, as reported by Chinese news site South China Morning Post.
His club Shanghai Shenhua confirmed on Tuesday that the Argentinian striker was back training with the squad.
Tevez had flown to Argentina for treatment using a break in the Chinese Super League season. However, the former Manchester United had to agree to return on 30 August with the consent of the Shanghai-based club.
Tevez ended his second spell at Boca last December when he signed a two-year offer with the Chinese Super League outfit.
However, the former international, who is earning a 730 thousand euros weekly wage, has struggled to meet up the expectation of Shanghai-based club.
He has scored just two goals in 11 domestic appearances for Shenhua this season, with various injuries restricting his availability to coach Gus Poyet.
