South Korea and Iran will clash on Thursday at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the final Asian qualifying round for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
While Iran have already qualified for the finals in Russia next year, it is a crucial game for the South Koreans. The Taegeuk Warriors are standing second in Group A with 13 points, seven behind the already-qualified Iran and only a point ahead Uzbekistan.
Only the top two teams from the group will earn automatic berths at the finals, while the third-place team will fall into playoffs.
