Arema FC have officially acquired the services of Turkmenistan international Ahmet Atayew to boost their defensive line-up for the second round of Indonesian Liga 1 this season.
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder has been in Malang for the last couple days and has convinced the coaching staff to sign him as replacement for Lebanese defender d Nouredinne.
Singo Edan have announced the signing of Atayew to public on Tuesday after the former Altyn Asyr FK player signing a half-season contract.
Atayew, who has 18 caps with Turkmenistan, is now awaiting stay permit clearance to make his debut for Arema in Liga 1.
