Persib Bandung sign Chad international Ezechiel N’Douassel

Indonesian side Persib Bandung have signed Chad international striker Ezechiel N’Douassel until the end of Liga 1 this season.

The 29-year-old previously spent his last two years career in Israel where he played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ironi Kiryat Shmona and Hapoel Tel Aviv.

N’Douassel came as a replacement for former Maung Bandung marquee player Carlton Cole who left the club last week by mutual consent.

“We needed a striker and agents had made offers. But there was a strict selection process, we had sought suggestions from others,” said Persib commissioner Zainuri Hasyim as quoted by Tempo.

“He was not the only option because there were other strikers as well.”

N’Douassel is a member of Chad national team since making his debut in 2005. He has scored seven goals in 35 international appearances for the African country.
