Carlos Tevez is not hesitate to hail himself as a phenomenon in Shanghai Shenhua and insisted that he is happy to stay in China for another year.
The 33-year-old Argentinian striker joined the Chinese Super League from his boyhood club Boca Juniors in January with a massive deal.
Since starting his career in Asia, Tevez has been consistently linked with a return to Boca. He also admitted that he often thinks about returning to Argentina.
However, the former Juventus and Manchester City star believes that he can stay one more year in China before returning to his homeland.
“I do not think about a return today, I’m a phenomenon in Shanghai. I can calmly stay one more year in China, I have a contract and then I’ll see what to do,” he spoke to Argentine radio station FM Late 93.1.
“I do not have anything decided, (going back to Argentina) always crosses your mind, but I want to enjoy these months in China and then I’ll sit down and talk to my family.
“One day I get up and say that I’m going back to Boca and another day, I say no. My head is like that.”
Tevez has only played nine of 18 games with Shanghai Shenhua in the CSL this season and scoring only two goals so far.
