Thailand announce 25-man squad for 45th King’s Cup

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) have announced a 25-man roster for the upcoming King’s Cup, which will be held from 14 to 16 July.

Nine footballers from Muangthong United get a call-up to the national team, including goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan, defender Tristian Do, and attackers Teerasil Dangda and Adisak Kraisorn.

Two footballers, Philip Roller (Ratchaburi) and Kampol Pathom-attakul have been called up for the first time. Roller has just joined Ratchaburi in June.

North Korea, Burkina Faso, and Belarus will join hosts Thailand in the prestigious annual tournament.

All three foreign teams taking part in the tournament hold higher FIFA rankings than Thailand.
