Arsenal end long-term partnership with Hoang Anh Gia Lai

Arsenal have officially ended their club partnership with Vietnamese top flight Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

The partnership between English Premier League giants and HAGL has been started more than ten years ago.

In August 2009, two players were sent to train with the Arsenal first team, but so far there are no any Vietnamese players have been signed by the London-based club.

Under the partnership, a Hoang Anh Gia Lai – Arsenal JMG Academy was built in Pleiku, which became the first-ever football training centre in Vietnam.
