Persib Bandung may not be able to field Sergio van Dijk and Carlton Cole in the upcoming match against PSM Makassar on 5 July.
According to reports from Indonesia, both van Dijk and Cole have not returned from their hometown and were not presenting when Persib players started their training on Friday.
As explained by the coaching staffs of the West Javan club, the two absentees cannot return to Indonesia since they have to undergo treatments for injuries.
“Van Dijk and Cole are not available. They would be allowed to undergo therapy first,” said Persib Bandung assistant coach Herrie Setyawan.
Along with Van Dijk and Cole, Gian Zola and Febri Hariyadi cannot also join the squad against PSM Makassar as the two young players are training with Indonesia Under-22 national team in Bali.
