Iran international striker Sardar Azmoun has been on the radar of Italian top flight team Lazio.
According to Sky Sports Italia, the Serie A club approach Azmoun as the replacement Fabio Borini, who is going to join Milan this summer.
The 22-year-old striker started his senior career in Russia since 2013 for Rubin Kazan. After spending two seasons for rivals FC Rostov for 2 seasons, he returned to Rubin Kazan with a contract until June 2018.
This season, Azmoun scored 12 goals with three assists in 41 competitive games for Rostov. His significant playing style has caught the eye of Liverpool, Celtic, and Sunderland – according to reports.
