Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini keeps an open mind about a future move to the Chinese Super League.
When asked if he would be tempted to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Axel Witsel in moving to China, the former Everton midfielder did not deny.
“In China? Why not? I’m now a Manchester United player, but I do not rule out such a transfer in the future,” the Belgian told VTM News.
However, Fellaini’s possible move to China seems to be his state of mind. The 194-centimeter tall midfielder has signed a new one-year contract at Manchester United in January and United is believed to have no desire to make him available to transfer.
Currently, there have been a number of ex-Premier League footballers plying their trade in the Chinese Super League, including Oscar and Paulinho. Chelsea’s Diego Costa has also been linked with a transfer to China.
