Police Tero parts way with manager Uthai Boonmoh

Thai League T1 club Police Tero has parted way with manager Uthai Boonmoh, according to a statement posted on the club’s Facebook fanpage.

Police Tero finished the first stage of the season with 23 points from 17 matches. The team conceded just 20 goals – the third least amount of goals in the league – but a misfiring attacking department scored only 21 goals, the fourth least in the league.

Uthai Boonmoh was appointed in February to replace Surapong Kongthep, whose contract with the club expired at the end of the previous season.

The Thai coach became the second manager in the league to lose his job in just two days. On Friday, Super Power Samut Prakan manager Jason Withe submitted his resignation to the club’s board of directors after just three months at the helm of the team.
