Muangthong United midfielder Chanathip Songkrasin has played his last game for the Thai club this season on Friday, helping the Kirins to a 4-2 victory over Chiang Rai.
The 23-year-old footballer bid farewell to the club’s supporters at the SCG Stadium, as he will leave Thailand to join Japanese club Consadole Sapporo on loan.
Back in December 2016, it was announced that Chanathip would be joining the newly-promoted J1 League side Consadole Sapporo on loan for a season in a half, starting in the summer of 2017
The Thai midfielder continued to play for Muangthong in the first half of the season before heading to Japan in July.
