Cezar Augusto completes return to Yangon United

Brazilian striker Cezar Augusto has returned to Myanmar National League after signing a deal with Yangon United until the end of this season.

The 31-year-old was a free agent and previously was set to join Indonesian side Mitra Kukar last month, but decided to cancel his contract for unclear reasons.

Cezar left Yangon United two years ago to pursue his European dream by joining Bosnian top club FK Sarajevo for 2015-16 season campaign.

“He is a good striker because he already knows well about the team as well as fans,” Yangon United coach U Myo Min Tun told club’s official site.

“Furthermore he earned success with our team for years. So I warmly welcome back to the team and show his marvelous performance along with us.”

Cezar had remarkable achievements during his first three-year period at Yangon United, successfully winning three league titles and was crowned three-consecutive top scorer with more that 100 goals in total.
