6. Hoang Vu Samson (Than Quang Ninh, Dong Thap & Hanoi FC – V.League 1) – 122 goals
The Nigerian-born striker is a legend in the Vietnamese domestic league thanks to his prolific goalscoring record.
Samson found his success in Hanoi after transferring here in 2011, winning the V.League 1 in 2013 and 2016, as well as finishing runner-up in 2014 and 2015.
Samson scored 133 goals in 116 games in all competitions for the capitol-based club and won the league top scorer award in 2014 and 2015.
