English striker Jay Bothroyd has revealed that he will return to Japan this summer, though it is not clear which J.League club will be acquiring his services.
The veteran journeyman wrote on his Instagram account that he is training in California ahead of a planned July arrival.

Bothroyd, who turned 34 years old on Sunday, spent two seasons at Jubilo Iwata before he was released by the club in December.
His 20-goal season in the 2015 Meiji Yasuda J2 League steered the club’s successful promotion campaign, while his 14 goals in 22 appearances last season helped the Yamaha Stadium residents retain their place in the J1.
The one-time England international would be eligible to play from July 21, when the J.League’s summer registration window opens.
