V.League 1 outfit Than Quang Ninh had no problem against Myanmar’s Yadanarbon FC in their Group H match of the AFC Cup played at Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay on Tuesday.
The 3-0 victory means very little for the guests as Home United have already won the three-team group sitting on nine points and are follows by Than Quang Ninh and Yadanarbon with four points.
Than Quang Ninh took the lead in the 38th minute when Yadanarbon defender Nay Myo Aung tried a back pass to his goalkeeper but it looped over him and into the goal.
The visitors went 2-0 up in the 56th minute when Van Khoa deftly executed a left-footed free-kick into the top corner, giving the keeper no chance.
Substitute Hai Huy completed the route for the Vietnamese side in the 73rd minute via a right-footed shot from the edge of the box.
