Fujieda MYFC could only retain one point in matchday 6 of J3 League after drawing with Kataller Toyama. Cambodian forward Chan Vathanaka made the bench for Fujieda but was not subbed in.
Host Fujieda took the lead before the end of the first half, but a positional error from their goalkeeper allowed Kataller to score the equaliser.
Chan Vathanaka made his competitive debut for Fujieda MYFC earlier this month, contributing to his side’s 5-0 win against Yazaki Valente in the semifinals of the Suruga Cup Challenge.
Vathanaka is currently on loan at Fujieda for the 2017 season from Boeung Ket Angkor.
