Stefano Lilipaly back in scoring way with SC Cambuur

The Indonesian international returned to action with style by scoring in SC Cambuur’s 4-1 victory against FC Eindhoven.

In matchday 37 of Eerste Divisie,  Netherlands’ second division, SC Cambuur entertained FC Eindhoven at the in Caamburstadion.

Stefano Lilipaly played the whole 90 minutes and got his name on the scoresheet by finishing a beautiful team goal in the second half.

The hosts opened the score through Jorge Hoefdraad in the 8th minute, before Erik Bakker doubled the lead with a few minutes later.

Sander van de Streek then closed the parade of Cambuur’s goal in the first half with a third goal for the hosts.

Eindhoven replied when Mart Lieder hit the ball home right after the beginning of the second half, but the Cambuur party remained awake with Stefano netting the closing goal in the 51st minute.

Lilipaly is a new signing at SC Cambuur, joining the club in January this year. He has made 22 appearances and scored 11 goals so far.

Cambuur are now in the mix for promotion to Eredivisie. They have 71 points after 37 matches and are in third place of Eerste Divisie, trailing VVV-Venlo (77 points) and Jong Ajax (73 points).
