Phil Younghusband and his older brother, James, were called up to the Southeast Asian nation’s football squad in 2005 after making their name in Chelsea youth teams.

The 29-year-old footballer is still active with the national team. He has won 87 caps and scored 45 goals.

His best achievement to date with the Philippines was finishing third at the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup. He also won the Golden Boot in the same tournament after netting 6 goals.
