5. Winfried Schäfer (German – 67 years old)
The former Thai national team head coach from 2011 to 2013 is widely tipped to take the helm again after Kiatisuk’s decision to quit.
Schäfer’s most recent job was with Jamaica, who reached the Final of 2015 Gold Cup after beating tournament favorites the United States.
Schäfer’s Jamaica also put in an incredible performance at the 2015 Copa America, where they lost to regional powers Argentina and Uruguay by a single goal each.
