South Korea 1-0 Syria (World Cup Qualification – Third Round)
South Korea returned to their winning way in Group A after edging out Syria at the Seoul World Cup Stadium yesterday.
Hong Jeong-ho’s early strike was enough to help the home side come out on top. The win helps South Korea to retain the second place of Group A, which means automatic qualification for Russia 2018.
South Korea’s next qualifying match is in June when they visit Qatar.
