Ex-West Ham United striker Calrton Cole is reported on the verge of joining Indonesian Liga 1 outfit Persib Bandung, according to the local reports.
The 33-year-old former England international could become the second top-rated signing after Maung Bandung previously signed Michael Essien.
The rumour was confirmed by Persib team manager Umuh Muchtar in a statement, who hinted that the management has discussed about the contract of ex-Chelsea youth product.
“It is usual [regarding the rumour about Cole],” he told reporters. “But this is also not a false news.”
Cole recently had short spells at Celtic in the 2015-16 season and United Soccer League club Sacramento Republic.
