Australia had to settle for their fourth straight draw in their World Cup qualifiers as they finished 1-1 against Iraq in Tehran.
Mathew Leckie gave the Socceroos the lead with a 39th-minute header from Aaron Mooy’s corner.
Substitute Ahmed Yasin slotted home to equalise for the host after Ali Adnan’s cross rebounded to him in the 76th minute.
Australia are currently third of Group B, three points behind leaders Saudi Arabia and Japan. Iraq, with just 4 points from 6 matches, are on fifth.
