Chinese Super League club to offer mega-money contract for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

A Chinese Super League club is ready to offer a staggering £30-million-a-year contract for Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to sources.

The Swedish striker has been a revelation since joining Manchester United last year. Despite his age, the former AC Milan and Barcelona footballer has scored 26 goals in all competition for the British giant.

And it seems that a number of Chinese clubs are ready to secure his service. Reports say that an unnamed club is willing to pay Ibrahimovic around £30 million in order to lure him to the Far East – a number that could make him the highest-paid athlete in the world.

Ibrahimovic signed a one-year contract with Manchester United last season, with an option to extend one more year. The British media reported that the Swedish striker is stalling on negotiating a new deal, as he’d like to sign for another two years.
