FAT urged Kiatisuk to sign a new contract

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has sent a notice to national head coach Kiatisuk Senamuang, asking him to sign a new contract according to terms and conditions outlined by the association, according to reports.

Kiatisuk’s contract has to be renewed by the end of February, but at the moment negotiations have been stalled for a while. The former footballer was handed a draft contract to which he sought amendments, but his suggesting terms were apparently turned down by FAT.

The coach has reportedly been informed that if he failed to respond within the given time, it “will be deemed as a refusal on [his part to renew the contract and the FAT will have the right to discontinue the negotiations in this instance”.

Kiatisuk guided Thailand national football team their second straight Suzuki Cup title in December.
