Indonesia national team midfielder Andik Vermansyah said he is open to the possibility of rejoining Persebaya Surabaya in 2018 when his current contract with Selangor FA expired.
The 25-year-old footballer is a product of Persebaya youth system. He was promoted to their first team in 2008 and spent six seasons with the club before making the move to Selangor FA in 2014.
“I’m willing to return [to Persebaya] after my time at Selangor. My contract with Selangor will expire in October”, Andik Vermansyah told reporters.
“I’ve maintained a close relationship with Persebaya. I often talk with the president of the club. I’ve always wanted to return, but I have to honor my contract with Selangor”.
“If the club managed to secure a promotion to the Liga 1, a lot of players will want to join them, not just me”, he added.
