Cameroon international striker Christian Bassogog set to join Henan Jianye

2017 Africa Cup of Nations MVP Christian Bassogog is on the verge of joining Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye from Danish club Aalborg BK, official source confirmed.

The 21-year-old scored one goal to help Cameroon clinch the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations title. It has been reported that the Chinese side have to pay €6 million to have the service of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations MVP.

Bassogog joined Aalborg BK from Wilmington Hammerheads FC in the USA. He has scored 4 goals after 30 league games for  Danish outfit.

Bassogog stands at 5’10 and has 9 caps for Cameroon in which time he has managed to score twice.
