Zoran Mamic has been appointed as the new Al Ain head coach a week after Zlatko Dalic stepped down.
Dalic has guided the UAE Pro League outfit to the final of the AFC Champions League last year, where they lost 3-2 on aggregate to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
His post was replaced by he 45-year-old Croatian tactician Mamic, who signed an 18-month contract with Al Ain after leaving his managerial role in the Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr.
Mamic sucessfully led Dinamo Zagreb to three domestic titles and clinched a shocking 2-1 home win over Arsenal in the European Champions League before moving to Asia in 2016.
