Cesc Fabregas open to future Chinese Super League move

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has refused to rule out a potential move to the Chinese Super League in the future.

The 29-year-old Spanish midfielder has struggled for game time under Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, having only started five of 14 appearances in the English Premier League this season.

Asked about the prospect of a move to China by Natacha Tannous in a YouTube interview, Fabregas said: “You never know.”

“Once I don’t think I can play in Europe, my plan at the moment is to go to the United States. But you never know…”

Big-spending teams in the CSL have lured John Obi Mikel, Carlos Tevez, Oscar and Axel Witsel to the East Asia this month, with the likes of the likes of Hulk, Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira already playing in China.
