FC Seoul sign former captain Ha Dae-sung

K League Classic champions FC Seoul confirmed that they have signed their former captain Ha Dae-sung to a three-year contract.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined Seoul in 2010 and helped the club win two league titles, as well as finish second in the 2013 AFC Champions League.

He left the club in 2014 to join Chinese side Beijing Guoan. Last year, he played for Japanese club FC Tokyo, and then Nagoya Grampus.

During his 10 seasons in South Korea, Ha scored 31 goals from 225 appearances. He has also played 13 matches for South Korea national team and was on the Taeguk Warriors squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

FC Seoul will begin their AFC Champions League campaign next month. The team have been placed in Group F at the premier Asian club competition this year along with Urawa Red Diamonds, Western Sydney Wanderers, and a yet to be determined play-off winner.
