Three Thai League 1 club join the race of signing former Buriam United defender Osmar Barba

According to Thai media, FC Seoul midfielder Osmar Barba has been the target of three Thai League 1 clubs.

The Spaniard would have chance to return to Thailand when Muangthong United, Chiangrai United and Bangkok United all show their interest in signing him.

Barba is not a stranger to Thai football scene. The versatile defender was a key member in Buriram United’s success in the 2012/13 season when they swept all major domestic competitions including the Thai Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.

At the end of 2013, Osmar joined FC Seoul on a three-year deal and becoming the first Spanish footballer to ever play in South Korea.

In the FC Seoul’s outfit, the 29-year-old, who has made 120 appearances, has been appointed as captain, becoming the first foreign captain in the club’s history.
