FC Tokyo have officially announced the signing of Jakkit Wachpirom from Bangkok United on loan for the rest of the season.
On the club’s official website, Jakkit expresses his gratitude of becoming the next Thai League player to enter the J-League: “I’m very thankful that I got the opportunity to play at an overseas club as FC Tokyo this time.”
The Thai wonderkid also promises to learn as much as possible from this experience. “I am looking forward to being able to play with all the leaders, staff and players at FC Tokyo and learning lots of things. And one day I am dreaming of a wonderful moment of standing at the pitch of J1 League as a player of FC Tokyo.”
FC Tokyo and Bangkok United announced a partnership earlier this year, the latest in a number of similar agreements between Japanese and Southeast Asian clubs.
